A 40-year-old woman was killed this afternoon (Tuesday) after being hit by a bus on Sahron Street in Jaffa. Shmuel Meshulam, a United Hatzalah medic: "According to passersby, the bus crashed into a nursery and she was crushed to death under it. Unfortunately, she was pronounced dead at the scene due to the nature of the severe injuries she suffered. The bus driver was also treated in a minor condition for anxiety and was taken to the hospital." The police said: Due to the traffic accident, traffic police are at the scene and are handling the incident while directing vehicle traffic from Jerusalem Boulevard to Sahron and Rozot streets to the west.
