A serious tragedy: A 30-year-old Haredi worker, a resident of Jerusalem, was seriously injured today (Thursday) after falling from a height of two stories into an elevator shaft at a construction site on Rambam Street in the Haredi city of Modiin Illit. Rescue forces who were called to the scene, in the Neot Pisga neighborhood, gave him initial medical treatment and evacuated him to Sheba Hospital in Tel Hashomer, where he was unconscious with multiple systemic injuries. Police arrived at the scene and began investigating the incident. Nehorai Ben David, a paramedic with the United Hatzalah: "The injured man fell into an elevator shaft while working at a construction site and subsequently lost consciousness. Together with other paramedics, we entered the depths of the shaft and provided him with first aid. He was then taken to Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer in serious condition." Pray for his complete recovery Yechiel Ben Chaya Yehudit.
