The coalition lost by a narrow margin: Opposition members rejoiced this evening (Wednesday) in the Knesset plenum, after the bill by MK Ahmed Tibi from the Joint List to establish a parliamentary investigative committee to place Arab teachers in the education system passed with a majority of 47 votes against the coalition's 46. Employers can receive a financial incentive of up to NIS 22,250. How? Enter Obeying the 'Torah': Where can I get vaccinated without the need for an appointment? This is the first loss in a vote for the coalition since the Knesset's winter session opened. The proposal by MK Ahmed Tibi from the Joint List was approved, in part, due to the absence of Arab and Druze MKs from the coalition. This is an issue that is perceived as important and critical in Arab society, and Meretz sought to allow freedom of voting - but coalition chairwoman Idit Silman refused. After the results were announced by MK Yaakov Margi, who chaired the meeting, opposition members burst into cheers and applause - and members of the Joint List rejoiced and rejoiced with MKs Miri Regev, David Bitan and Shas chairman Aryeh Deri. Likud faction chairman MK Yariv Levin congratulated the victory on Galei Tzahal: "Our struggle continues with full force. If we continue to act in unity - we will be able to replace this evil government." Levin attacked Gideon Sa'ar's law that would prevent a criminal defendant from serving as prime minister: "The law - Sa'ar's personal revenge. They are afraid they won't be able to beat Netanyahu at the ballot box, so they choose to prevent him from running. It is absurd and crazy and contradicts the most basic principle of democracy - the right of the public to choose its leader.".
