A global outage in all services offered by Facebook: the social network, messaging app WhatsApp, and Instagram platform are unavailable.
Users from all over the world are reporting that they are unable to send or receive messages on WhatsApp, the Facebook feed is not updating or the site is not loading at all, and Instagram has also crashed.
Facebook said: "We are aware that some people are having trouble logging into our apps and products. We are working to fix things as quickly as possible and apologize for the inconvenience."
WhatsApp also released a separate response, but in the same spirit.
According to reports, the work environment of programmers at Facebook and the company's internal system are also experiencing glitches.
Telegram reported that millions of new users have joined the service in recent hours following the WhatsApp outage.
