Just before Yom Kippur: Yeshiva star, singer "Fishel", is releasing a debut single in which he focuses on the disasters that unfortunately occurred during the past year - and with the arrival of the new year, we all hope that it will be filled with only good and joyful news.
The lyrics are about the Psalms: "Why do you stand afar off in times of trouble?", to the tune of Pinky Weber.
Fischel wanted to release the single after the Meron disaster, after being on the mountain during the disaster and burning inside to release something after the great pain that the people of Israel experienced. Time passed and unfortunately more disasters came.
The clip combines video clips from the disasters.
During the filming of the music video at the scene of the disaster in Meron, all the difficult moments flashed before Fishel's eyes, making the filming a moving experience. It took him a long time to calm down.
""Every time a disaster happens, the pain burns: 'Why G-d?' We just need to understand that G-d wants something from us, is waiting for us to wake up and return to Him, and in particular, now is the time to strengthen ourselves with something like the point of a needle, and G-d will open an opening for us like the opening of a hall, and accept our prayers and answers with mercy and willingness. Let us hope that no more robbery and destruction will be heard on our border, and that joy and gladness will overtake us, and we will all merit eternal redemption very soon," says Fishel.
