Dramatic teaching in Carlin Hasidism: Thousands of Karlin Hasidim were supposed to celebrate Rosh Hashanah at the Binyamin Ha'uma Congress Center in Jerusalem, where holiday prayers were supposed to be held in the presence of the Rebbe.

But tonight - in a dramatic order, the Rebbe ordered the cancellation of the prayers and events that were supposed to take place at the 'Buildings of the Nation', and all the Hasidim will remain in their cities of residence - and will not come to the Rebbe.

The reason? "Due to the increase in morbidity."

Only yesterday evening were the Hasidim informed, according to the Rebbe's instructions, that entry of the Hasidim to the 'Buildings of the Nation' will be subject to 8 strict rules - this in light of the fight against the coronavirus.

However, sources in the Karlin court told Haredim 10 this evening: "The Rebbe understood that he would not be able to enforce a green light. When you add to this the trauma of the collapse of the tribunes on the eve of Shavuot, alongside the pressure in the Gur court, when Hasidim who returned from the wedding in the US are all sick - the decision is understandable."
