Additional morbidity data indicates that out of approximately 116,000 tests, the percentage of positive results is 3.791%.
There are currently 31,206 active patients in Israel.
Of these, 545 patients are currently hospitalized in hospitals across the country, including 71 patients in critical condition and 49 on ventilators.
On Friday, 3,846 confirmed cases were diagnosed, with the positive test rate standing at 3.791% out of 102,758 tests.
The number of people vaccinated with the third dose has exceeded 400,000, and stands at 412,308 vaccinated.
The number of people vaccinated with the first dose is 5,804,967. A total of 5,393,083 people were vaccinated with the second dose.
Twenty-six people died from the coronavirus over the weekend. This is the highest number of deaths in a single weekend in four months. Since the outbreak of the pandemic, 6,535 people have died.
According to estimates published on Channel 12, if the number of patients in serious condition reaches 600-700, the Ministry of Health will order a lockdown.
Reaching the target number will effectively limit the number of seriously ill patients to 1,200-1,400 - and therefore this is the stopping point set by the Ministry of Health.
Prof. Ran Blitzer said this evening: "The health system must be strengthened, as the ability to fight the virus relies on the health system's absorption capacity. Second, the elderly and people of advanced age must be protected and absolutely avoided from going to places where there are crowds - despite the green mark. Third, infections must be stopped through vaccination and additional restrictions.".
According to a report by Tal Lev-Ram in Maariv, the Alon headquarters of the Home Front Command estimates that the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus will continue to climb significantly in the coming weeks.
Based on various models presented at the headquarters, which is responsible, among other things, for investigating those who have been verified, this coming Wednesday there are expected to be 6,000 verified people per day.
At the same time, according to estimates, a week later the number will jump to 9,000 patients, and in two and a half weeks the number of daily confirmed cases will reach about 15,000. At the same time, the number of patients in serious condition is expected to reach about a thousand people, of whom about 200 will need a ventilator.
