MK Nir Orbach of Yamina, who considered opposing the formation of a left-wing government with the majority, is expected to support the formation of the government. This was quoted by 'Globes' as saying by a source in the coalition being formed. According to the report, Orbach will support the formation of the government, thus giving it the required 61st finger. At the same time, he will be appointed Minister of Settlement, a position currently held by Minister Tzachi Hanegbi. Yamina denied the report. Earlier today, council heads in Judea and Samaria sent a letter to Orbach urging him to vote against the formation of the new government. The council heads made it clear that the position of Yesha Council Chairman David Elhayani, who supports the left-wing government, does not represent them.
