The head of the Chabad rabbinical court in the Holy Land, Rabbi Yitzhak Yehuda Yaroslavsky, sent a personal letter today (Thursday) to members of the Yamina party, calling on them to thwart the establishment of the left-wing government.
Rabbi Yaroslavsky notes in his letter that he acted on the instructions of the Lubavitcher Rebbe to prevent the establishment of the Persian government in 1959, during the affair known as the "stinking exercise.".
""This step is a danger to all of Israel in every sense and will be a cry for generations, and it will be impossible to stop the deterioration of this move after, God forbid, the government is sworn in," writes Rabbi Yaroslavsky.
""Anyone who thwarts this plan is guaranteed to rise higher and higher in all respects, and enduring this trial will bring blessings to each and every one of you and to your families," the rabbi writes.
""The people of Israel will repay you with a great favor for this, and you will be engraved in letters of gold in the history of the people of Israel that you stood the test in this difficult hour, and brought salvation and deliverance to the people who dwell in Zion.".
In his handwriting, the rabbi added that today - 23 Sivan - is the day capable of canceling the decrees, in light of the words of the Lubavitcher Rebbe: "On 23 Sivan every year, the scribes of the king, the king of the world, are called and they write everything that Mordechai Dekai has commanded for each and every one of Israel. Each one of Israel becomes the master of the house, according to the general principles of world governance, so that all matters are done according to his will.".
