Who said the police don't do anything?Commissioner Kobi Shabtai approved a new branding for the Israel Police's Logistic Support Division, which initiated a process of positioning and rebranding police vehicles, in which all Israel Police vehicles will be painted black. The first to be painted are the traffic vehicles, followed by all other police vehicles. As part of the branding, the familiar white vehicles with blue stripes will become black, and the vehicle's unit badge - traffic, patrol or any other unit - will be attached to the side of the vehicle in a white stripe. In recent days, three vehicles with the new design have already been prepared as a sample. Meanwhile, the Traffic Division and the Police Operations and Policing Division are renewing themselves with new vehicles. These days, the process of purchasing new patrol and traffic vehicles has begun in the Israel Police, in order to improve the visibility and prominence of the operational vehicles and to allow police officers to continue to operate for effective enforcement. The vehicles of various models will be painted black, with Israel Police emblems, flashing lights and a lighting bridge to increase visibility - Even during the hours of darkness. The vehicles will be purchased gradually in accordance with the reduction of the vehicles currently in use, which will be replaced with the new models, until all police vehicles are replaced with patrol and intercity traffic vehicles.
