Daf has been in Israel's sights for several decades, and has even been the focus of several assassination attempts. Apparently, in one of the attempts, he lost an eye and was left with a crippled hand. In Israel, it is estimated that he is currently at least a hundred meters underground. Daf began his journey as a student of the terrorist mastermind Yahya Ayash - known as 'the Engineer', who was eliminated in a brilliant Shin Bet operation.
