Bereaved families pleaded near Shaked's house: "Ayelet, stop the disaster!""

About a hundred people participated this evening (Saturday night) in a demonstration in front of MK Ayelet Shaked's home in Tel Aviv, chanting "Stop the government of disaster.". At the forefront of the demonstration were members of the bereaved families forum "Choose Life," who have supported the Yamina party for years. Among the participants were: Boaz Kokia, father of the late soldier Ron Kokia, Herzl and Merav Hajaj, parents of the late soldier Shir Hajaj, Shai Odessar, son of the late Mordechai, and Ortal Tamam, niece of the late soldier Moshe Tamam. Boaz Kokia, father of the late Ron, presented the forum's position: "We acted with all our might and we pledge to attack any minority government that relies on supporters of terror. We call on Ayelet and Naftali to stop now, a moment before it's too late." Merav Hajaj, Shir's mother, cried out, "Ayelet, we believed in you with all our hearts, we asked everyone we could to vote for you, and now we can't look our friends in the eye. We fought against the establishment of a government with Ra'em out of complete confidence that you and Naftali would keep your promise to avoid any collaboration with supporters of terror. Please Ayelet! Come back!" Ortal Tamam, niece of the late Moshe Tamam, who was murdered by terrorists, added, "Ayelet, in my worst dreams I never believed that a day would come when I would have to stand and demonstrate in front of your house. For years I have worked for you and for Naftali with complete faith that by doing so I guarantee that a government with supporters of terror will never be established. I still believe that it can be fixed, please stop!".
