At the height of the heat: A two-year-old girl was rescued from a locked vehicle this afternoon (Sunday). United Hatzalah emergency medical volunteers from the Mevaseret and Surroundings branch were called to Amber Street in Mevaseret Zion, following a report received at the hotline about a child locked in a vehicle. An ambulance and paramedics who were nearby were the first to arrive at the scene and, with the help of a window breaker, rescued the girl from the vehicle - miraculously, she was fully conscious. Uriel, a volunteer at United Hatzalah: "While I was near the address, I was called by the United Hatzalah operations center to a location near me. I arrived at the scene where I encountered a two-year-old girl who was locked in the vehicle. I used the glass breaker I had and rescued the girl within seconds.".
