After about seven months in prison: The Parole Board decided this morning (Tuesday) that Tzipi Refaeli's sentence will be shortened - and she will be released from prison in about a month. The decision was made after the prosecutor's office announced that it supports the early release, as she meets all the conditions for release. A source at the prosecutor's office explained the support for the release: "This is her first prison sentence, she has very positive behavior in prison and she has undergone treatment procedures as required. In addition, she also has an organized rehabilitation plan." Towards the end of September, Refaeli was admitted to Neve Tirza Prison, where she began serving her sentence after she and her daughter, the celebrity Bar Refaeli, pleaded guilty and were convicted of tax offenses in July. According to the plea agreement signed with them, Tzipi Refaeli was supposed to serve a sentence of 16 months in prison and Bar Refaeli a sentence of nine months of community service, which she will serve at Beit Noam - an association that helps people with disabilities. It was also agreed in the settlement between the parties presented at the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court that Bar Refaeli will pay tax on income of 16 million shekels, and that each of them will pay a fine of two and a half million shekels.
