Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Yamina Party Chairman Naftali Bennett are meeting at noon (Tuesday) at the Prime Minister's Office in Jerusalem. Concurrent with the meeting between Bennett and Netanyahu, the negotiating teams of the two parties are also meeting. Bennett and Netanyahu are meeting today, after meeting for about two hours yesterday afternoon. Apparently, the two are discussing, among other things, how to convince Religious Zionist Chairman Bezalel Smotrich to agree to forming a government with the support of Ra'am. 'Globes' correspondent Shirit Avitan Cohen reported this morning that the Prime Minister has offered the Yamina Chairman the senior portfolios currently held by members of the Blue and White party, primarily the defense and foreign affairs portfolios, as well as the culture portfolio. According to the report, Netanyahu intends to keep the justice portfolio in the hands of the Likud. During the talks, the Likud armor proposal was also discussed, which Netanyahu presented to Yamina immediately after the election results, even before the start of talks between the Yamina and Likud negotiating teams.
