Yisrael Beytenu Chairman, MK Avigdor Lieberman, announced today (Sunday) that he will recommend to the President of the State that he assign the task of forming a government to the head of the party that receives the highest number of seats, but not to Benjamin Netanyahu.
In Israel, speeding is the norm: Why do we drive fast?
The meaning: Lieberman is closed with Yair Lapid.
In an interview with the Marciano Foundation at News 12's 'Influencers Conference', Lieberman said: "The interest of the State of Israel is to establish a stable government and replace the current government, which has failed in every parameter.
'"I will recommend the party that brings in the most seats other than Netanyahu," Lieberman noted.
He attacked the Yamina chairman: "What Bennett is doing is trading on the public's trust. Every interview begins with the claim that he will be prime minister. I think that even on moral issues like marriage and divorce and opening businesses on Shabbat, he opposes but speaks of a liberal agenda. The bottom line is that his chances of becoming prime minister of Singapore are higher than his chances of becoming prime minister of Israel; the Nation-State Law did not strengthen the Jewish state.".
