Closing the circle: The staff in the delivery room at Shaare Tzedek Medical Center could not remain indifferent to the moving birth of the grandson of Ari Fuld, who was murdered two and a half years ago in a stabbing attack in a shopping center in Gush Etzion - and was treated at Shaare Tzedek in his final moments.

His grandson, the son of Tamar, Ari's daughter, and Mikiya Beasley, was born weighing 2.445 - and there was great joy in the delivery room.

"The staff at Shaare Tzedek remember the difficult day Ari passed away and share the family's pain. Now, we are excited to take part in the Beasley family's happy event with their first son. We wish them many joys and that they raise their son in peace," the staff said in the delivery room.

Ari Fuld was murdered on September 16, 2018, in the Rami Levy compound at the Gush Etzion intersection by a sixteen-and-a-half-year-old Palestinian terrorist.

The murderer was arrested at the scene, before he could murder other people, due to the resourcefulness and bravery that Ari showed with his last strength.

Ari was 45 years old at his death. He was laid to rest in the cemetery in Kfar Etzion. He left behind a wife and four children, parents and four siblings.

Only a year and four months later, on January 6, 2020, was the murderer convicted, according to his confession, in an indictment that included one count of intentional causing death (equivalent to the crime of murder) and three more counts of attempted causing death.

In July, the military court at Camp Ofer sentenced the terrorist murderer to life imprisonment and awarded compensation to the family.
