The Corona Cabinet has decided that Israel will grant benefits to the vaccinated starting next week. According to a report in Kan News, the benefits will include malls and shopping centers, including markets, gyms, museums, cultural and sports events, hotels (without dining rooms), swimming pools and exhibitions. Street shops and synagogues are expected to open to everyone, regardless of whether you have been vaccinated or not - along with restrictions on gatherings. The Health Ministry is requesting that the easing of restrictions begin only next Tuesday - 11 Adar, depending on the morbidity data, but Blue and White is demanding that the economy be opened to vaccinated people before Sunday next week. A decision on the matter is expected tomorrow at the cabinet meeting that will convene in the morning, after today's meeting ended without agreements. However, it is possible that the Health Minister will compromise on next Sunday. It was also reported in 'Kan Hadathos' that the police do not intend to enforce compliance with the green label guidelines at the entrances to malls and businesses. The police say that this is the responsibility of the business owners and the police will intervene if there are individual calls about suspicions of forgery and fraud. The Health Ministry, for its part, intends to draft regulations that will determine fines for business owners who violate the green label guidelines. Finance Minister Israel Katz told Channel 12 this evening: "There will be no more closures. Businesses will open on Sunday - forever. Purim is a specific issue that needs to be resolved.".
