Three weeks have passed since President Joe Biden took office, but he has not yet found the time to speak on the phone with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The one who had difficulty accepting this was former Israeli Ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, who today, via a tweet on Twitter, urged the president to call Netanyahu.

Danon wrote in a tweet: "President Joe Biden, you have already spoken with world leaders from Mexico, Canada, South Korea, Australia, Japan, Germany, France, India, Britain, Canada, and Russia. Maybe it's time to call the leader of Israel, the United States' closest ally?""

Just to be on the safe side, or perhaps in case the White House lost the number, Danon included the phone number of the Prime Minister's Office in Jerusalem - and wrote: "The Prime Minister's phone number is 972-2-6705555.".

The tweet caused a stir and the reactions were not long in coming.

Among the commenters was singer Aviv Gefen, who wrote: "Add a zero zero before the number because he's calling from America.".

Actor and comedian Seth Rogen wrote: "This is the most Jewish tweet ever.".

It should be noted that while the President and Prime Minister have not yet spoken, the Foreign Ministers of Israel and the United States, Gabi Ashkenazi and Anthony Blinken, have already spoken several times.

Two days ago, Netanyahu said: "I spoke with Biden when he won, I assume he will call me soon. Our alliance is strong and our relationship is already 40 years old.".
