One week until the lists close: A source on Ron Huldai's 'Israelis' list said this evening (Thursday) that there is a good chance that the Tel Aviv mayor will resign, but only at a later stage - if there is no increase in the polls.

According to a report in Kan News, the chairman of the Israelis is currently in talks with Telem chairman Moshe Ya'alon regarding the combination of their lists. However, Huldai's entourage claims that Ya'alon's demands are excessive.

Haredi? This is the prestigious educational institution that is willing to provide a subsistence scholarship and full funding.

Even with Blue and White, Huldai does not rule out a connection. This is despite claiming that Gantz is "more of a burden than an asset." He told Galtz: "I never said that I was not willing to join Gantz.".

Huldai appeared this evening at the annual conference of the Institute for National Security Studies at Tel Aviv University, and denied any intentions of withdrawing from the race.

""I will continue until the end," said Huldai. "There is a tragedy here of the egos of all the partners. I decided to leave my position because I could no longer. I will create a large party together with Yair Lapid or alongside Lapid.

""If he unites the entire camp, that's great. If not, there's room for a large party alongside him," said Huldai.

He added that he would meet with Merav Michaeli and try to reach an agreement with her. "I have finished my duties as mayor and will only officially resign when I enter the Knesset.".
