Baruch Dayan, the truth teller: In the city of Rehovot, Mrs. Shoshana Reiza Yert died suddenly this evening (Wednesday), at the age of 72.
The deceased was born in 1958, to her father, Rabbi Yaakov, the late Rabbi.
When she reached puberty, she married her husband - the expert mohel, Rabbi Eliyahu Irt, one of the most prominent Gur Hasidim.
Together with her husband, she founded the "Patient Assistance" organization, within the framework of which they operated a motel at the Kaplan Medical Center in Rehovot, and assisted thousands of families who were forced to stay there, mainly on Shabbat and holidays.
The deceased and her husband served Shabbat meals to visitors to Kaplan, distributed food baskets with Shabbat foods in the wards - and provided full meals to those who needed it.
She left behind a blessed generation of righteous people: sons and daughters and descendants.
Her son is a man of mercy and a volunteer for rescue organizations, Rabbi Israel Yert - director of a branch of the Ezer Mitzion organization in Jerusalem.
Her funeral procession left tonight at 11:00 PM from her home at 36 Ezra Street in Rehovot - to the city cemetery, where she was buried.
