According to a report in Kan News, additional data shows that only 51% of the Arab sector has been vaccinated so far, compared to 151% of the general population.
The Ministry of Health said that they are calling on the Arab population, especially the at-risk population over the age of 60, to come forward as soon as possible and take responsibility for their lives and the lives of society as a whole.
In addition, more than 30% of the patients diagnosed in the last 72 hours are from the Haredi sector. This is almost 17 thousand confirmed cases, of which 5,452 are Haredi, 9,311 belong to the general population and 2,200 are Arabs.
The rate of positive tests among the ultra-Orthodox public stands at more than 13.51%, compared to slightly more than 3.51% in the general population. In the past two weeks, the relative share of ultra-Orthodox in the morbidity has risen sharply and stood at more than 251%.
Meanwhile, 150,000 Moderna coronavirus vaccines will arrive in Israel tomorrow at noon from Belgium to Israel. The shipment will arrive on a special flight to Ben Gurion Airport, which was decided upon today. Another shipment of vaccines in a similar quantity is expected to arrive early next week.
