Tragedy in Gur Hasidism in Ashdod: Businessman dies of coronavirus at age 55

The tragedies of the coronavirus: This morning (Thursday), Rabbi Simcha Beital, the late Rabbi of Gur Hasidim in Ashdod, passed away at the age of 55. Suffering from a medical problem? After his condition deteriorated, he was taken last night to Assuta Hospital in Ashdod, where he was put to sleep and ventilated - and this morning he passed away, to the heartbreak of his family and acquaintances. The deceased, z"l, was born in the United States in 1965 to his father, Rabbi Shmuel Beitel, and his mother, Mrs. Masha. In his childhood and youth, he grew up and was educated in Gur Hasidic institutions. He established his home in Ashdod with his wife, and their home was an open house for guests. He earned a living in real estate and was known as a charitable man, a supporter of the 'Union of Gur Institutions'. Since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, he has been careful and observed the rules, as one of the Gur Hasidim who stood out in guarding against infection with the virus, but in the third wave he became infected. He left behind a blessed generation of righteous people: sons and daughters, sons-in-law and grandchildren. His brother is the businessman Rabbi Binyamin Ze'ev Beitel. The funeral procession will take place at 2:30 PM at Beit HaChaim in Ashdod, where he will be buried.
