Retiring MKs Gideon Sa'ar and Yifat Shasha Biton revealed this evening (Tuesday) the reason that apparently caused the Knesset member to join this partnership.

Aharon from Beit Shemesh receives 6,400 shekels every month because of depression. Maybe you deserve it too?

Those around Shasha Biton say that joint leadership has been agreed upon, including making joint decisions regarding the list of candidates.

A statement from the two said: "Gideon Sa'ar and the chairman of the Corona Committee, MK Dr. Yifat Shasha-Biton, reached an agreement regarding a partnership based on shared values and an understanding of the challenges facing the country and the need to bring about change.

""Gideon Sa'ar will head the list and the movement and will be its candidate for prime minister. MK Shasha-Biton will be the deputy leader and deputy chairwoman of the new movement and will be placed second on the list in the Knesset elections, when they are held.".

It was also determined between them that in a government headed by Saar, Yifat would serve as deputy prime minister and deputy and "would head a social cabinet, which would lead activities in the social fields, with an emphasis on education, health, livelihoods and welfare.".

In the talks between the two, it was also agreed to promote a change in the electoral system and government so that the term of office of a prime minister would be limited to eight years, the electoral system would be changed in a way that would give the public the power to personally elect at least some of the members of the Knesset, and transfer powers from the central government to local government.

It was also agreed that the issue of education would be a central priority for the new movement.

Coalition Chairman Miki Zohar stated today: "I will declare MK Yifat Shasha Biton as retiring. By her decision to run on a different list, she has lost her right to represent the Likud faction in the Knesset.".

If Shasha Biton is declared a quitter, she will not be able to run with the Derech Eretz faction, which is an existing party, unless MKs Yoaz Hendel and Zvi Hauser give up their existing platform. If Zohar's request is approved by the Knesset committee, Shasha Biton will be able to legally object, since she did not vote against the faction.
