The late Rabbi was evacuated to Shaarei Tzedek Hospital at the beginning of Cheshvan after contracting the coronavirus. He was later transferred to the coronavirus ward at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital, where he was hospitalized. After recovering from the coronavirus, he was transferred to the intensive care unit. The Torah world prayed for his recovery, but unfortunately, after his body's systems collapsed, he returned his soul to its Creator. His life story
The mashgih zt"l was born on the 14th of Cheshvan 3001 to his father, the late Rabbi Meir Hadash, mashgih of the Hebron Yeshiva for over 100 years, and to Zvia, the granddaughter of Rabbi Yosef Zundel Hutner of Ishishuk. At the age of two, he traveled with his mother and younger sister Shulamit - Rebbetzin Ezrachi, wife of Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Ezrachi, Rosh Yeshiva 'Ateret Yisrael' - to Lithuania, to receive the blessing of the 'HaFetz Chaim'. Upon reaching yeshiva age, he entered the 'Tiferet Zvi' yeshiva - Hebron for young people, named after his grandfather Rabbi Natan Zvi Finkel zt"l. He was one of the first students in the yeshiva that was founded at that time. From 'Tiferet Zvi' he continued on to the Hebron Yeshiva, where he advanced in Torah and morality. Upon reaching his retirement, he married Mrs. Hasid, daughter of the late Rabbi Chaim Ze'ev Finkel, zt"l, the supervisor of the Mir Yeshiva, son of the Rosh Ha-Yashiva, Rabbi Eliezer Yehuda Finkel zt"l. After the passing of his father-in-law Rabbi Chaim Ze'ev Finkel, in the month of Elul 5765, Rabbi Aharon was appointed by the Rosh Ha-Yashiva to serve as the supervisor. Since then, for more than 55 years, he served as the supervisor of the Mir Yeshiva. Despite being the elder of the supervisors, he avoided giving talks in the yeshiva hall, preferring to give 'va'id to the yeshiva students at his home. He used to study his seders in the yeshiva's central beit midrash, but every evening he would come to study in the other beit midrash, in order to examine the condition of the young men studying there. Yeshiva students were known for their insistence on arriving for prayer in the yeshiva's central building, and this was even a condition for receiving a place to sleep in the boarding school. He himself, even during his sick days, made sure to come to the morning prayer service at the yeshiva, out of devotion. He is considered a master and knows almost every young man among the tens of thousands of young men who studied at the yeshiva during his years as a supervisor. His students say that in his final years he was a symbol of a Jew fighting for the service of God, as he would fulfill a very active daily routine while on oxygen: he would attend yeshiva services, hold talks, and participate in his students' events. In the month of Cheshvan 5775, his wife, the rabbinate, who served as a teacher at the 'Beit Israel' school in Musarra, passed away. Her passing greatly affected the supervisor, who became weak and ill. He is survived by his children: Leah, the wife of Rabbi Mordechai Sompolinsky - the rector of Yeshiva Or Elchanan, Rabbi Ephraim Hadash, Rabbi Ben Zion Hadash, Yael, the wife of Rabbi Yitzhak Goldshtoff, and Rabbi Zeev Hadash - and many descendants. The funeral of the overseer will leave at 12:00 from the Mir Yeshiva plaza in the Beit Israel neighborhood of Jerusalem towards Har Hamenuchot. The yeshiva building will be entirely closed only to the family and the yeshiva heads. The nearby streets will be divided into capsules by hundreds of checkpoints.
