About two thousand worshippers arrived this morning (Tuesday) for an exciting Rosh Chodesh prayer in honor of the month of Kislev at the Western Wall plaza. Suffering from underlying medical conditions? You may be entitled to a lot of money from National Insurance. After many months of respectful and quiet Rosh Chodesh prayers being held in the Western Wall plaza under the shadow of the coronavirus and the guidelines, this morning a small group of about 10 women from the Women of the Wall organization arrived again, and blatantly violated the court and Attorney General's decision, attempting to bring a Torah scroll into the Western Wall plaza in a provocative march. The Western Wall Heritage Foundation stated: "The Western Wall Heritage Foundation's ushers and the Israel Police approached this group several times, asking them to maintain the customs of the place and public order, in order to prevent unnecessary friction. "This group continued to walk roughly and crowdedly in their attempts to make their way through the security checkpoint, ushers, and police. "We regret that the entire purpose of this group is provocation and demonstrativeness without paying attention to the consequences and harm to public feelings and the sanctity of the Western Wall." The Women of the Western Wall organization responded: "The violent blockade of the Women of the Western Wall, while preventing the introduction of the Torah scroll in order to read from it in prayer, is outrageous. We call on the High Court of Justice to be the responsible adult and order an end to the practices that discriminate and exclude women at the Western Wall. "We will not give up the Western Wall and the right of women to pray in their own way and read from the Torah at the Western Wall, we will not abandon the Western Wall to an extremist Haredi administration that does not recognize anyone who does not belong to its narrow camp. We will continue to fight for the introduction of the Torah scroll to the Western Wall as it has been for the past 32 years and we will continue to come to the Western Wall every month.".
