About half of the positive cases in the last 24 hours are from the Arab sector; decrease among the ultra-Orthodox

National Security Headquarters data published today (Thursday) shows that the percentage of positive cases for Corona in the Arab sector in the past 24 hours stands at 5.91% - which is five and a half times higher than the general sector (1.11%) and the Haredi sector (2.11%). Gradual exit from the general lockdown starting October 18:

Kindergartens are open according to the Ministry of Education's plan. Grades 1-2 have returned to school intermittently, and grades 3-4 are studying in capsules. Businesses that do not accept the public are allowed to operate, street shops will open on November 8.

Self-collection is permitted at businesses with certain restrictions.

Public transportation is allowed to operate in full, but the permitted occupancy on each bus is up to 50%. Beaches and national parks are open according to the Purple Note outline. The Western Wall and the Temple Mount are open according to a special outline.
