Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu published a post on his personal Facebook page this afternoon (Tuesday), in which he attacked the announcement from this morning on the Ynet website about a new vehicle intended for use by his wife Sara.
Netanyahu began: "What does fake news look like? Here's a fresh example from today, while I'm in the middle of discussions this morning about our exit strategy from Corona.".
""First, a false headline is published on the Winnet website: 'Especially for Sarah Netanyahu: A new armored vehicle costing more than a million shekels.' After a short time, the Shin Bet shatters the false advertisement with an official statement: This is not a new vehicle purchased for the security mission of the Prime Minister's wife. This is one vehicle from a series of vehicles ordered 3 years ago, intended to replace a fleet of armored vehicles for secured individuals.

""This is a professional decision by the Shin Bet and the Security Division in the Prime Minister's Office - the security personnel have no part in making decisions in the matter.".
The Prime Minister stated: "The balloon exploded within an hour, but the damage was already done. I don't even expect them to apologize.".
He said, "The left-wing media is once again blackening and shedding the blood of my wife Sarah, as it has done every day for more than 20 years.".
He added: "I don't know many people who would endure such a terrible hunting expedition for years, but I know very well that the public already knows how to distinguish between truth and lies.".
