Yamina Chairman, former Defense Minister MK Naftali Bennett, visited this evening (Tuesday) the place where a rocket exploded during the signing of the peace agreement - in the city of Ashdod.

The Yamina chairman then spoke with residents and visited businesses that were hit by the economic crisis. MK Bennett said near the site of the rocket's fall: "A great miracle happened here tonight. The distance from here to a great disaster that will lead us to war is very short." He added: "Long years of losing deterrence have led us to this situation, but I don't want the residents of the south to despair and think that this is fate. "It won't be easy, but we can create a different reality here," the former defense minister told the residents. As reported in Haredim 10, terrorists from the Gaza Strip launched rockets at Ashkelon and Ashdod, while the peace agreement signing ceremony was taking place at the White House. Two residents in Ashdod were injured, one moderately to seriously and one lightly. [Gallery]
