This week, Maran Ha-Rach Kanievsky sought to strengthen and thank the Torah scholars, yeshivot heads and directors of educational institutions, who have worked and are working during this period to maintain the Torah temples, Torah studies and schools. In his remarks in response to questions from yeshivot heads and educators, he said this week: "Blessed are the Torah scholars, thanks to whom no yeshivot has ceased in our country, and we must add reinforcement to the Torah and education temples." The Ha-Rach added: "It is forbidden to be careless and rush to put students into isolation, not for individuals and certainly not for many - something that could result in the cancellation of the Beit Midrash, the Jewish school." In his remarks, he emphasized the duty of yeshivot heads to enable study in yeshivots, in a manner that is not dangerous. Several questions were also presented on matters of daily life that are urgent. Several of the questioners sought to clarify the matter of the 'Blessing of the Month', which these days are the last time to say during the month of Elul - should someone who is in isolation bless it while staying at home from the window And not under the open sky, or will he wait until his isolation ends? The Rabbi replied: "We are bringing it forward." In response to questions from synagogue collectors ahead of the High Holy Days, whether it is appropriate to close the "Women's Aid" in order to allow for the expansion of the prayer space with the help of the people, he replied: "No, their prayer is important and we need it." The Rabbi ordered that other solutions be found, so that people can pray without fear of danger.
