For the first time, the Jerusalem Municipality will hold a special preparatory event for the month of Elul for the new immigrants, at the initiative and with the participation of Mayor Moshe Leon, in the municipality's open square in Safra Square, which has been specially prepared to accommodate crowds according to the capsule outline with the approval of the Ministry of Health. The special event will be held in the format of a 'Bnei Torah Movement' camp, at the center of which will be a special and inspiring message of encouragement from the rabbi, Rabbi Baruch Mordechai Ezrachi, Rosh Yeshiva 'Ateret Yisrael' and member of the Council of Torah Sages of 'Degel'. The 'main event for the new immigrants' organized by the Jerusalem Municipality will be held on Thursday evening. The city square has already been prepared to accommodate the masses of the new immigrants according to the capsule outline. In view of the peak demand for participation in the large event and the limitation of the number of participants by the Ministry of Health, participation will be possible by purchasing tickets only. The special event will be opened by Mayor Moshe Leon, who initiated the main event for the new immigrants ahead of the month of Elul, with the aim of them returning to school in an atmosphere of encouragement and joy. At the center of the event, the acceptance of the yoke of the Kingdom of Heaven will be held and the recitation of Psalms will be performed in large numbers, with the Gaon Rabbi Shimon Galai passing in front of the Ark. After this, special 'Rabbi Sheikh' will be held, as is done every year at the 'Bnei Torah' camp, with each 'capsule' conducting a 'Rabbi Sheikh' for that group. After the 'Rabbi Sheikh', an evening prayer will be held in large numbers, and light refreshments will be distributed to the participants. The special event will include a long hour of emotional, awakening, and joyful songs with renowned musicians. The climax of the event will be the renowned strengthening burden of the Gaon Rabbi Baruch Mordechai Ezrachi, who evokes many echoes every year with the special story "Yitzhak Elchanan Shamaleh," which the Rosh Yeshiva has been telling for over forty years at the 'Bnei Torah' camp - and now the Jerusalem Municipality is allowing all the city's residents of the city to hear the chilling story from his mouth and experience the special burden that is engraved in their hearts. Rabbi David Blumenstock, the holder of the Torah Culture portfolio, thanked Mayor Moshe Leon for the blessed initiative and said that without a doubt the main event initiated by the Mayor between now and the current month of Elul constitutes a special endorsement of the chain of events and activities that the municipality as a whole and the Torah Culture Department in particular, have operated throughout the interwar period for the members of the Aliyah and all family members who are residents of Jerusalem.
