This was due to suspicion of his involvement in terrorist activity against IDF soldiers. Regular income from National Insurance? Check your eligibility for a monthly pension today Da'ma was arrested after arriving at the Erez crossing, where he arrived after receiving permission to enter Israel, in order to reach Tel Hashomer Hospital to donate bone marrow to his brother who is hospitalized in the hospital. If you do what he did, there's a good chance you'll be settled in life. Want to too? He was interrogated at the crossing by the Shin Bet and at the end of the investigation he was arrested. During Da'ma's interrogation by the Shin Bet in cooperation with the Israel Police, it emerged that he was involved in the murderous attack that took place 10 years ago - on March 26, 2010, on the border fence in the Gaza Strip, near the settlements of Nirim and Ein Hashlosha, in which two IDF soldiers, First Sergeant Ilan Savyatkovsky and Major Eliraz Peretz, were killed, and two other soldiers were wounded. Eliraz Peretz is the son of Miriam Peretz, who also killed her son Uriel. The attack was planned by the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Organization starting in September 2008, and was actually carried out by them in March 2010, but after it the Islamic Jihad Organization took responsibility for carrying it out. The investigation revealed that around July 2008, Abdullah, who was an active member of the In al-Shahada' al-Aqsa, he agreed, together with another operative, Adnan Abu Hani, to the organization's proposal to carry out terrorist activity against Israel and to recruit additional operatives for this purpose. Abdullah and Adnan recruited Bassam Abu Dagmah into the organization's ranks, for the purpose of carrying out the attack. Abdullah served as Bassam's commander in the cell. As part of the preparations for the attack, the cell members located a suitable location for the attack near the perimeter fence, near Bassam's land. They later formulated a plan for planting an explosive device against IDF forces operating in the area and recruited additional operatives to their ranks. The investigation also revealed that the cell members approved the attack plan with the organization, which was supposed to provide them with the explosive device for its implementation. The cell members underwent shooting training to use weapons during the attack, in which Abdullah did not take part, in light of a previous injury that prevented his participation. The cell worked to carry out the attack, while Abdullah attempted to obtain a suitable device from the organization. After several failed attempts to obtain the explosives, and shortly before the attack, Bassam obtained explosives and weapons to carry out the attack from the Islamic Jihad organization and carried it out together with other terrorist operatives, according to an outline agreed upon with Abdullah and Adnan. The investigation shows that Abdullah encouraged Bassam to carry out a terrorist attack intended to result in the deaths of IDF soldiers. Bassam was killed a few months later, in 2010, during an attempt to plant an explosives against IDF forces on the perimeter fence in the Gaza Strip. In addition to his involvement in the attack, the investigation revealed that Abdullah served in a command position in the Al-Aqsa Martyrdom organization, was involved in terrorist activity against IDF forces, and in fact served as an activist in the organization until the date of his arrest. Today (Sunday), the Southern District Attorney's Office filed a serious indictment with the Beersheba District Court, charging Abdullah Da'ma with the offenses of soliciting the murder of IDF soldiers, management of a terrorist organization, and membership in a terrorist organization.
