The late Rabbi Yeshaya Berkowitz was born in London to his father, the late Rabbi Yeshaya Berkowitz, who passed away in Cheshvan this year at the age of 88. When he reached his end, he married his wife, the daughter of the late Rabbi Shmuel Pinter, one of the elders of Belza Hasidim, who passed away about two weeks ago at the age of 93, from the coronavirus. The late Rabbi served as a member of the board of directors of the Koydinov institutions, and stood at the right hand of the Koydinov Rebbe since he was enthroned in 1994. His acquaintances speak of a humble man who did many acts of kindness. He left behind his widow, a daughter, and a son. The funeral procession left this morning (Friday) at 11:00 AM from his home at 14 Pearl Street, corner of Rabbi Sher, via the Beit Midrash Dachsidi Koydinov plaza at 22 Maharshal Street in Bnei Brak on its way to Mount Hamunehot in Jerusalem, where he will be buried. ZAKA Tel Aviv volunteers held the funeral and burial in Bnei Brak and are standing by the family during these difficult times.
