Leftists: Avishai Ben-Haim's 'video' - fake • News 13: Completely authentic

The video in which left-wing protesters at a demonstration in Balfour are heard chasing commentator Dr. Avishai Ben-Haim from News 13 and shouting insults and curses at him - caused a stir on social media on the one hand, but there were also many on the left who doubted the veracity of the video, which is difficult to see anything in, on the other hand. In the end, you'll regret being a sucker: Maybe you deserve a lot of money from National Insurance. Many of the surfers identified with the left claimed: Avishai Ben Haim is not seen in the video, he did not tweet the video himself, we do not see who is shouting, and in general there is no evidence that it is from the left. According to a report by Raz Schachnik from Yedioth Ahronoth, News 13 examined the claims made about the 'attack video' against the esteemed journalist, according to which it is supposedly not authentic but rather fabricated. News 13 responded: "This is a video that was filmed at a demonstration on July 15, 2020 at 00:09 by Avishai Ben Haim and its total length is 00:29 seconds. The video only arrived at the system yesterday, and when it arrived, we reviewed it and found it to be completely authentic. It should be emphasized that the video was not brought to the attention of the editorial staff at the system beforehand and in fact we learned of its existence retrospectively, due to its tweet on Twitter by another reporter." News 13 added: "Any claim regarding the reliability of the video is biased and clearly incorrect. In addition, the news company will forward the video to the Israel Police, as part of the investigation into the events of the demonstration that evening." News 13 journalist Yossi Eli tweeted:

As reported yesterday in Haredim 10, during one of the violent protests by left-wing protesters in front of the Prime Minister’s residence on Balfour Street, they incited and cursed commentator Dr. Avishai Ben-Hayim from News 13. One of them shouted at him: ”You son of death.“ The protesters shouted at him: ”Run away“ and even threatened him: ”We will drag your body with the van.“ In addition to the harsh curses directed at him, they also hurled ”Goebbels“ at him. Journalist Yinon Magal shared the recording on his Twitter account and wrote: ”And now sit down, and look, and listen: Journalist. Dr. Avishai Ben-Hayim. Escaped from left-wing protesters in Balfour and only the phone records: “We will drag your body with a van! Run away! Goebbels! You son of death!’ ‘I say again: The left must renounce violence in its camp, otherwise it could end badly.’.
