The IDF is publishing documentation this morning (Monday) of the successful thwarting of an IED attack that a terrorist cell planned to carry out on the Israel-Syria border. The cell was located by a special force from the Magellan unit that carried out an ambush in the southern Golan Heights - and was then fired upon by fighters and aircraft. Four members of the cell were identified as having been wounded. An IDF spokesman commented on the elimination of the terrorist cell last night on the Syrian border and said that there was no direct connection to Hezbollah's statements about wanting to carry out an attack, but the direction cannot be ruled out.
