5 police officers injured in Arab riot on Temple Mount

עשרות מחבלים רעולי פנים יידו הבוקר (שני) אבנים וירו זיקוקים לעבר כוחות משטרה בשער המוגרבים בהר הבית, עם פתיחת השער למבקרים. שוטרים, לוחמי יס"מ ולוחמי מג"ב פרצו פנימה והדפו את הפורעים, תוך שהם מסירים מחסומים שהוצבו בכניסות למקום, סגרו את דלתות מסגד אל אקצה, ובכך הפסיקו את ההתפרעויות. 5 שוטרים נפצעו קל במהלך העימותים, שקיבלו טיפול רפואי במקום. Meanwhile, Jerusalem police officers and Border Guard soldiers arrested 12 suspects overnight in connection with disturbances that occurred in the city over the past few days. In the past month, 430 suspects were arrested for disorderly conduct. After the riot was stopped, the police allowed visits to the mountain area for Jews and tourists, visits that are proceeding as usual.
