During an operational activity by the Israel Police yesterday (Tuesday) in Lod, the police noticed a vehicle that aroused their suspicion - and called for it to stop. The police handed the girl over to a family member, and the suspect was taken for questioning at the city's police station. The suspect, 26 years old from Lod, was brought to the Rishon Lezion Magistrate's Court today for a hearing on his case, at the conclusion of which his detention was extended by six days. The investigation is ongoing.
