The head of the team advising the Minister of Public Security on Haredi affairs, Major General (retired) Arik Yakuel, addressed the public praying in synagogues today (Friday), ahead of the Shabbat of Parashat Matot Masei.
How did he manage to get a prestigious degree without preparatory school or prerequisites? The secret is inside
""In light of the situation, the Ministry of Health's guidelines have been tightened. According to the new guidelines that went into effect today, it is permitted to hold minyanim inside synagogues under a limit of up to 10 people only. In open spaces, gatherings are permitted for up to 20 people only," he wrote. "Separation inside the synagogue using partitions, plastic sheets, and the like does not change the guideline, and gatherings of more than ten worshipers in a closed space are not permitted. "We must be stricter in personal safety, and those who can should prefer to pray in open spaces. Likewise, prayer in a minyan that does not observe safety rules should be avoided." He added: "At this time and in the midst of the days of the Egyptians, we must strengthen ourselves in protecting our health and the safety of those dear to us and increase our prayers for peace with Israel and the entire world.".
