Corona Hotel Operation: 4,301 rooms in 20 hotels • How many of them for Haredi?

In total, there are 20 hotels and hostels with 4,301 rooms: 15 recovery hotels for mild coronavirus patients and 5 hotels for those in isolation. This is the university that allows you to study from anywhere and at any time convenient for you. 11 hotels were opened in Jerusalem and the center, 6 hotels in the north and 3 in the south. 8 designated hotels were opened for patients from the Haredi sector, individuals and families. The Procurement Administration of the Ministry of Defense signed 'boundary contracts' with 8 hotels (a total of 960 rooms), which can be opened at short notice, depending on the rate of increase in morbidity. Another agreement was signed with 'Together for the Soldier', to open a facility for sick soldiers in Ashkelon. Since the beginning of the second wave, the procurement director has operated about 35,000 overnight stays in hotels and hostels, and tens of thousands of meals - for a total of about 27.5 million shekels. The amount was transferred directly to the hotels and does not include the Home Front Command's expenses, which are estimated at several hundred thousand shekels. The Transportation and Transportation Division in the Defense Ministry's Logistics Division rented 170 buses and coaches to transport the sick and isolated. Deputy Head of the IDF and Defense Ministry Services Procurement Directorate, Bracha Hertz: "In the second wave of the disease, we are dealing with a rapid increase in the number of sick and isolated people in hotels. So far, through the Home Front Command, we have opened about 20 hotels and hostels, and we are preparing to immediately open additional hotels. The estimate is that within days we will surpass the peak of the first wave of illness." Yesterday, Defense Minister Benny Gantz held a 'Zoom' meeting with the commanders of the hotels and districts in the Home Front Command. Gantz told them: "The work assumption should be active until the end of 2021 - that is, the entire work year next year will also be around the crisis. Unfortunately, I have difficulty seeing it end before then. Therefore, your mission is to continue providing this operational-logistical service and create for yourself, for the commanders and for the people operating in the field a breathing space that will allow for long-term work.".
