According to Ministry of Health data published this evening (Tuesday) and updated as of 11:00 p.m., 42,360 people have been diagnosed with the coronavirus in Israel since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic. Of all those infected, 371 people have died to date - four of them in the past 24 hours. 19,665 people have recovered from the coronavirus to date, while 22,324 people are defined as active patients. Of the active patients, 529 people are hospitalized, while 21,795 patients are receiving home care or in isolation in coronavirus hotels. The condition of 183 of the hospitalized patients is defined as serious, 56 of them are on ventilators. An additional 114 patients are hospitalized in moderate condition. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health is updating the data from the previous day this evening, according to which 29,171 test results were received on July 13, in which 1,718 new coronavirus patients were diagnosed. The Ministry of Health also published the updated coronavirus morbidity report by cities and localities in the country this evening. According to the data, the locality with the highest morbidity rate in relation to the population is Yavne'el, where 1.301% were diagnosed with the disease. In second place is the city of Beitar Illit, which has a much larger population, and its morbidity rate is 1.046%. However, the quarantine imposed on Beitar Illit will be lifted starting tomorrow according to the decision of the Director General of the Ministry of Health, Prof. Hezi Levy. Additional localities where the percentage of morbidity exceeds 1% of the population are Kiryat Malachi and the locality of Tiprah. In Bnei Brak, where 275 confirmed cases were diagnosed in the last three days, the morbidity rate is 0.784%. In Tel Aviv, 196 new cases were diagnosed in the last three days, and the morbidity rate is 0.379%. In Jerusalem, 472 cases were diagnosed in a similar period of time, but the morbidity rate is lower than in Tel Aviv and stands at 0.325%. Other communities with high morbidity rates are Arara in the Negev, Dimona, Kassifa, Kafr Qasem and Sabion.
