Embarrassing police PR: Three videos were distributed on social media today (Thursday) of a police officer catching arbrechims 'red-handed' in a neighborhood of Chabad Hasidim in Safed - while they were without a mask. Contrary to the stigmas, and unlike the 'girl video' that shocked the internet, here it ended differently: the police officer repeatedly pulls out a mask, instead of issuing a fine. The videos distributed online drew waves of criticism from users about the cooperation with the police's public relations department, which, according to claims, is discriminating against the Haredi public during the Corona period and is operating with 'increased enforcement'. The Chabadnik from Safed who was filmed in the video responded to this: "I got out of the car and a police officer asked me why I was without a mask. I didn't understand at first what was happening until I realized and saw that someone was filming me on video. It's clear that this is something staged." Shlomo Hadad, deputy and acting mayor of Safed, said in response to the video: "This is a mask distribution tour without enforcement. During the activity, videos were spontaneously filmed for internal information. It is unclear how the things were taken as national advertising for/against."
