Lieberman on Yair Netanyahu: Don't mess with a grown-up, idler, mentally ill child

יו"ר ישראל ביתנו אביגדור ליברמן תקף היום (ראשון) בחריפות את בנו של ראש הממשלה, יאיר נתניהו, בריאיון שהעניק לשלי יחימוביץ' ויגאל גואטה ברשת ב. בתגובה לדברים שכתב נתניהו נגד ליברמן בעבר בטוויטר, אמר ליברמן: "אני לא מתעסק עם בני משפחה, אישה וילדים ובטח שלא עם ילד מגודל, בטלן, שלוקה בנפשו וסובל מפרנויות וסכיזופרניה".

In the interview, the Yisrael Beiteinu chairman also attacked the prime minister for his conduct during the coronavirus crisis and on the issue of annexation.

""I'm not only bothered by the fact that Netanyahu is trying to humiliate Gantz, which he perhaps deserves," Liberman said of today's confrontation between Netanyahu and the alternate prime minister in the Corona cabinet discussion. "He is also humiliating the Chief of Staff and the head of the Shin Bet. I don't remember such an atmosphere in which the head of the Shin Bet and the Chief of Staff were not partners in a move like the annexation move, which requires their involvement on the ground.".

Regarding the Corona crisis, Liberman said: "What needs to be done is to transfer responsibility and coordination to the Home Front Command, and simply stop wasting time. Netanyahu does not want to lose control, and he is not managing the Corona crisis - but rather managing a public relations campaign.".
