After the removal of the program by right-wing journalists Kalman Libeskind and Erel Segal from the broadcast schedule: Kan News is about to fire reporter and broadcaster Uri Revach, a Chabad follower. The news was first revealed by Itzik Ohana in Kachar Hashabbat. Revach was summoned by the corporation's management for a hearing before being fired, and it was claimed that there was 'dissatisfaction with his work.' Uri Revach refused to comment. The public broadcasting corporation Kan stated: "The attempt to impose a political agenda on the corporation will not succeed. The considerations in the absorption of employees, as well as in the termination of their employment, are purely professional. Without going into the details of this or that employee, and in order to protect the privacy of employees, we would like to note that the corporation strives for excellence in work in all divisions and departments." Several angry users responded: "I am also removing the Kan 11 Broadcasting Corporation app in protest of the firing of Chabad broadcaster Uri Revach. I call on everyone here to remove the app as well!""
