Dozens of educational institutions in the Haredi community - yeshivahs, schools, Torah talmudic schools and kindergartens - have already been closed in the past month after coronavirus patients were found among them, and hundreds of students and teachers were sent into isolation. This is why a yeshiva student in Bnei Brak, who has been in the yeshiva until now and is about to get married in about two weeks, feared that one of his students in the yeshiva or from other classes would be found to be sick - which would also force him into isolation. Because of this, he went to ask Maran Grach Kanievsky: what should he do - stay in the yeshivah or go home until the wedding. The Grach replied: go home. At the Grach's house, 10 Haredim are told tonight: "This is a private instruction, and the Maran responds to each case on its own merits. This is not an instruction for the general public." Meanwhile, a teacher at the Ohel Torah seminary in Bnei Brak tested positive for the virus today, and because of this, fourth and eighth grade students will enter preventive isolation. The Bnei Brak municipality emphasizes that, contrary to "irresponsible and unfounded publications, from the moment the teacher did not feel well, he remained in isolation and did not come to Talmud Torah in accordance with the strict safety rules. "We call for avoiding as much as possible the dissemination of news and information that is unfounded and, in most cases, also false.".
