While talks between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Blue and White Chairman Benny Gantz about applying sovereignty continue, it appears that Netanyahu is expected to have a majority within the government for the move in any case.
Communications Minister Yoaz Hendel, a member of the Blue and White bloc in the unity government, clarifies that his position on the issue does not depend on Benny Gantz's position.
Minister Hendel said this morning (Thursday) in an interview on Galei Tzahal: "I will vote in favor of applying Israeli law in Judea and Samaria regardless of Gantz's position."
At this time, it is still unclear what the scope of the application of sovereignty that Netanyahu will bring for government approval will be, and whether it will be a single application of sovereignty or in phases.
