Two years after the launch of his debut album 'Give Us Life,' singer and cantor Haim David Berson presents the first music video of his kind, in which he performs, together with the African-American ultra-Orthodox rapper Nissim Black, his wedding hit 'Kulnu Nezmer' - which was first released on the album.
In the rhythmic clip, filmed at a wedding and a chuppah locations, Bresson brings the next thing in the world of music for the first time, when a cantor and a rapper come together for a lively duet and create a connection of a kind never seen before in Israeli music.
""The way I see it, today's public is different from the public of the past. The Haredi public is musically open to a variety of styles and there is almost no style of music that is not found in the genre of Hasidic music," says Berson. "Maybe it's not authentic Hasidic music, but everything is progressing and you can see the influences of all genres on Hasidic music, from all angles. Both in terms of sounds, and in terms of mixes and rhythms, to melodies and so on.".
According to Bresson, the message he conveys here "is very Jewish and very authentic and very strong. It's a message of unity that is also very appropriate for this period and Nissim also incorporates his style, which also speaks to many other audiences.".
The music is by Mordechai Barzel, the arrangement is by Jan Preitor and Daniel Kepler, the production is by Shruli Meir, the digital and PR is by 'Bahazit'.
