Equal Burden • Dozens of soldiers from the ultra-Orthodox Nahal entered the Gaza Strip

Subjects in the yoke:  Among the thousands of IDF soldiers operating in the Gaza Strip are also ultra-Orthodox fighters from the ultra-Orthodox Nahal Battalion. Dozens of ultra-Orthodox soldiers from the ultra-Orthodox Nahal Battalion entered the Gaza Strip last week, and are taking an active part in the war effort as part of Operation Protective Edge. Among the soldiers who entered were soldiers currently in an officer course, soldiers in a platoon commander course, as well as soldiers from the ultra-Orthodox Nahal who serve in additional units. במקביל, על רקע המתיחות הגוברת בקרב ערביי יהודה ושומרון בגדה, חיילי גדוד נצח יהודה של הנח"ל החרדי, נמצאים בימים אלה בכוננות מתמדת. החיילים, האמונים על גזרת מנשה, הכוללת את הערים טול כרם וג'נין,  נמצאים בשטח,  ומטפלים בהפרות הסדר ובידויי אבנים, דברים שלעיתים מגיעים להיתקלויות פנים אל פנים. רבני עמותת הנח"ל החרדי, המטפלת בחיילים חרדים, פנו לישיבות וכוללים ברחבי הארץ, וביקשו מהלומדים להקדיש את לימודם לזכות החיילים. . מהעמותה נמסר: "יחד עם ההורים שלהם, עם בני משפחותיהם, ועם כל עם ישראל, אנחנו מתפללים לחזרתם של כל חיילי צה"ל בשלום לביתם ולרפואתם של הפצועים".
