The Registrar of Parties, Attorney Eyal Globus, accepted the affidavit of Larissa Amir, wife of the murderer of the late Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, in which she stated that the party's goals and/or any of its actions do not justify the murder of a prime minister.
After reviewing the affidavit and the application for party registration, the Registrar of Parties determined that his decision to reject MK Stav Shaffir's objection stands - and that there is no legal basis to justify preventing the party from registering, and ordered the party to be registered.
The registrar noted in the decision, which rejects the objection to the party's registration, that the nature of democracy is that it allows different ideas to be heard, while due to the fear of violating basic fundamental rights, the registration of a party will only be prevented in extreme cases.
