What happens when Yair Lapid is embarrassed? He starts to deflect the issue and claim: "incitement." Last night (Friday night) the Prime Minister posted on his Twitter account a video of the late Tommy Lapid, from 2004, and wrote: "For the attention of Lapid.". The video shows Tommy Lapid, then Minister of Justice, giving a speech On the proposal to amend the Basic Law of the Government, so that after an indictment, a prime minister would be required to resign: "Are you suggesting that an official (the Attorney General) could fire the Prime Minister? Doesn't democracy cost you anything?... You cannot entrust the Attorney General with the sole and absolute authority to fire the Prime Minister and remove a government!"" Lapid, who is now demanding that Netanyahu resign from his position, contrary to his father's words, began to whine, instead of responding to the substance of the matter:  ""How much lower will Bibi stoop? To extract speeches by my father, of blessed memory, from the archives? How much longer will you drag the discourse into incitement. I never involved your family, but you are probably really desperate. In any case, my father believed with all his heart in protecting the justice system and no quote taken out of context will change that.".
