In light of the discovery of the bodies of the three kidnapped women, the Jerusalem Police received a call yesterday from a 21-year-old woman who reported that she had been kidnapped by two Arabs and was being held in a Palestinian village.

The Hebron region and the Gush Etzion point joined the IDF and, with the help of the young woman's mobile phone location, were able to track her down. She was found safe and sound in a building inside the village of Beit Gala.

Initial investigation revealed that after finishing her work, the young woman met with a friend, and at the end of the meeting, on her way to the Trampiada, a white car stopped with two Arabs in it, who allegedly forced her into the car and took her to the building where she was staying.

The young woman was questioned under caution at a police checkpoint in Gush Etzion, and investigators learned that she and the "kidnappers" had a prior acquaintance.

At this point it is unclear why the Arabs locked her in the building and whether this was indeed a kidnapping-type incident. The suspects known to the police will be arrested soon.

A source from the Yitzhak Rabin Police Department provided the following details: "The girl who was questioned at the police checkpoint in Gush Etzion on suspicion of being kidnapped was questioned with a warning for falsely reporting a kidnapping after it turned out that she got into the vehicle voluntarily, but the suspects imprisoned her involuntarily in a building in the village of 'Beit Gala'.".
